FDM Technology

FDM 3D printing (Fused Deposition Modeling) consists of depositing successive layers of molten filament that bond together at high temperature, forming a durable, three-dimensional object. It is one of the most practical and versatile 3D printing technologies, working well for prototypes as well as functional parts or short production runs.

How FDM technology works

The printing process starts with preparing the 3D model and setting the print parameters. Then the filament is heated and deposited layer by layer by the printer until the finished part is obtained.

001

3D Model

First, a 3D file is needed that defines the shape and geometry of the part.

002

Print preparation

The model is configured for material, quality, infill and other parameters.

003

Layer deposition

The heated filament is precisely deposited layer by layer, forming the finished object.

004

Finished part

After printing we get a durable part, ready for testing, use or further processing.

Advantages of FDM technology

FDM is a solution valued for functionality, good quality and cost-effectiveness across many types of projects.

High mechanical strength
